A Time to Praise, while caring for a child

A Time To Praise, While Caring for A Baby

Finding time for yourself while caring for another being seems almost impossible! When the baby first arrives some of us may feel so overwhelmed by the needs and demands this little person has over us. We need to give and give and give all day it seems like no one will rescue us!

Ladies we must find time, make time, so we can stay on God’s path, that He may bless us and give us what we need in order to minister to our families. When we set a time apart to praise Him, He will bless us with His peace and love.

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

Just as we give and give to our mommy- dependent babies, so must we cling to God for He will give unconditionally and gracefully upon our request! We must see ourselves being taken care of by an all loving father the same way we are giving fully to our babies.

Yes there was a time for ourselves, a time for our husbands and now this is time to care for baby. That doesn’t mean everything else is unimportant. God must always stay first then all else will fall into place without losing our minds. Remember, as with all seasons this season too shall pass. Keep this in mind when your love and patience seem to be reaching their limits and your sanity is in question, THIS WILL PASS. Keep this in mind too when your baby is doing the most adorable things and making the cutest sounds, embrace these times because they too shall pass and be gone before you know it.

The only way you can stay balanced and sane is to remember who is holding you while everything seems to fall apart. Who is caring for you, keeping you warm, protecting you, feeding you so that you in turn can care, protect, and feed your children? If we seek His Kingdom and righteousness all else will be given to us.

May God’s love and peace be with you and your loved ones!

Words of Christ to us:

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27
