Chamomile, Fennel and Ginger Tea
The story behind the tea:
This tea was created for me during the first couple of weeks after Jasmin’s birth. She was so fussy, we just thought she had colic. So we did our research, what can we do for her colic? Is it colic? What are solutions for gas?
Among the many suggestions to relieve colic, found different ways we can hold her to burp her and we found gripe water. Different people and resources recommended giving a few drops or so of gripe water directly to the baby. We were also told by various sources that anything that I ate that made me gassy would give her gas too.
I didn’t feel comfortable giving her anything but breast milk, so we had to find a solution! Thankfully my husband figured it out! He looked at the ingredients of gripe water and decided to give it to me instead. Well, if it helps with my gas it should help with the baby’s gas too! And it did! For the weeks during my diet change this helped soothe baby and me.
–BOIL: slices of ginger, fennel seeds, either fresh chamomile or tea bag.
-SERVE and ENJOY!

25 And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
