Sugar scrubs are an easy DIY your little ones can join in on! Low on mess, simple ingredients, quick and easy!
Obviously little ones don’t need their sensitive skin to be scrubbed. It can be used as a gentle foot scrub, or in their bath! Why not?!?
Here are my kiddos, a friend, and I working together to help them. After they finished, they worked on colorful labels for their jars! Straight away they wanted to go for a bath to get to use their scrubs. So cute!
Fill jar with sugar Add essential oils and carrier oils Stir! Done!
Momma’s turn
We added a few more oils and witch hazel!
Our scrubs were truly made with self care in mind. These mommas were going oil happy and just dropping them all in!
What you will need:
- Glass Jar
- Coconut Oil
- Witch Hazel
- V6 carrier oil
- Essential Oils
It’s as easy as: fill a jar almost full.
Then add a tablespoon each of V6 and coconut oil.
Plus a teaspoon of witch hazel.
Add up to 10 drops of essential oils, mix and match!
DONE!
Add more oils according to the size of your jar. As you mix you will notice the oils dissolve some of the sugar.
Fill jar and choose oils! we added Witch Hazel! Plus V6 and coconut oil ad essential oils and stir!
Tips to Use
For facial scrub, dissolve some in your hand before scrubbing your face to avoid scratching your skin. Facial scrub only needed 2-3 times a week.
For foot scrub, it’s ok to leave the sugar a bit more rough. Soak your feet for a bit first to soften the skin first.
ENJOY!
