Meditating on Hebrews 12:2-4
For some time now I have been meditating on Hebrews 12. This specific scripture keeps coming up in my life, to the point that I decided to memorize it just because that was the easiest way to keep bringing it to my mind clearly!
Looking unto Christ
Its supposed to be an always thing to do. We always have to keep our eyes on him. This has become so common its almost cliche to say!
The truth is that our problems, our stresses, people, chores, are much easier to stay focused on. I catch myself so caught up in what I’m doing or THINKING that I don’t even realize I have totally lost focus of Christ Yashaya (My Saviour).
The Joy that was Set Before Him
What is that joy? Salvation. Atoning His people back to the Father. Focusing on this joy, He endured!
What is our joy? What is motivating us to endure, to stay focused on Him? to not care about who appreciates us or takes us for granted? Our joy is in HIM, His Peace, Love, Reward!
Focusing on Him and Our Joy will help us feel loved, appreciated, motivated as we go about our day. Try it brethren, its incredibly helpful.
Lest Ye Be Wearied and Faint in Your Minds
Consider Him, focus on Him and what He endured. In this way all our stressed and issues are seen for what they are. Not lessening the trouble you’re going through, but redirecting your attention to the Truth of life, it is more than just us and what we are going through. Remember Christ, then we can endure like He endured. We can call upon His strength.
Because unlike Christ…
Good reminder to wake up to. Thanks, Jen.
Most High bless!
