Bible verses to keep me whole, sane and joyful
I don’t have it all together. We have tons of moments of happiness and joy, mixed with tons of moments of impatience and learning. For all moments, good and bad, I have to turn to our Father Almighty. Scripture for those parenting moments are what keeps me going!
Mommy and parenting support has come from many places since pregnancy:
…my own mom and mother in law, Mama Sheila our midwife, and of course Rawach (Spirit). Momma support groups online and home meetings, play dates and all those mama connections…all of it is so important for our parenting sanity! Bible verses, the Most High’s promises to us, for us, are the top thing for my spiritual, mental, and physical ability to function everyday for my family.
They really need me to be whole
I’m allowed to cry, to breakdown, have my moments. Recuperating from the weight of motherhood is a blessing in itself. I know many moms who suffer through much depression from all it takes from us to keep going for our babies. We tend to lose a bit of ourselves, struggling through the constant unpredictable changes.
Through it all I know that if it was on my own strength, I too will fall victim to the struggles. I could lose my mind, my home could fall apart! Well, the spirit of evil will not win in this household!
Here we fight back, hold strong, rebound from our falls, with the Word
Right now I have a threenager, a 6month old, and a four year marriage. I’ve got to take care of myself and them, keeping the peace, everyone spirits up, bellies fed, and house liveable. Same struggles everyone’s got. It’s in myself to choose how will I get through the day, how will I stay joyful, pleasant, and loving.

The following bible verses are scripture to keep my mind on the right thing to do when all is just wrong. When my anger, impatience, unloving, lack of kindness, want to takeover. I remember my love for righteousness, love for my family, and pull through with Almighty Fathers strength!
Philippians 2:14-15
