My Rainbow baby after 2 miscarriages, never lose hope

Hey guys, well on my previous post I told you about my miscarriages. Well I’m happy to announce that I am currently 7 months pregnant with my rainbow baby!

How we found out about my rainbow baby

Shortly after we moved back from Nashville in March. I had an appointment at my gynecologist for just my yearly checkup. That day I was supposed to get my period So I really never thought about being pregnant or anything. Plus I didn’t think that I could get pregnant so soon after a miscarriage.

Anyway, I was at the doctor they told me to pee in the cup. I did. After waiting the nurse came in and started asking me the usual questions. Do I take any medication when was my last my period, could I possibly be pregnant? I told her I don’t think so because I had a miscarriage, like end of October.

She said well we can’t do anything today and I was shocked, and the she continued to tell me that they couldn’t do anything because I am pregnant!

I was even more shocked! She told me okay the doctor will be in too see you soon. I waited a little bit because we all know ladies, that at gynecologist all you do is wait. Wait for like what’s seems like hours and then see the doctor for like 10 mins.

Well he came in, confirmed my pregnancy told me that I could get an ultrasound done and blood work done to confirm. To come back in two weeks for a repeat ultrasound. I was with my brother and his girlfriend Wilney that day because I don’t have a car and they were nice enough to take me. So he came in and asked if we were almost done. And I proceeded to tell him, no I need an ultrasound and he was like why so I told him because I just found out I’m pregnant.

He was so surprised so was his girl I was like yup a baby is coming. I went and got my ultrasound down saw a baby of mine for the first time it was so tiny. They told me I was 6 weeks and a couple days. And you know they were even able to find his heartbeat! Not many people can hear a heart beat that early, but I did, praise the Lord!

How we told my fiancé

That day my fiancé was working but getting out soon so we told him to meet us Pollo Tropical because we were hungry. We went and met there and when we got our food and sat down my brother started the prayer. I was holding his hand so I squeezed with the intention that he would understand like to say something about the baby in the prayer.

Thankfully he understand my message and said, “Lord we also thank you for the new addition to Jose and Nicole’s family for blessing them with that baby.” In that moment I opened my eyes and looked at my fiancé and he was just smiling and in shock you could tell, it was so funny.

After the prayer he was like are you serious and I was like yup I’m pregnant I found out today he was so happy he started crying!

This was probably one of the happiest days of my life!
