Getting your littles nutrition can be quite tricky, so here’s to making juicing a family activity!
It helps if the whole fam is on the same page about the necessity of getting proper nutrition. We noticed once our children see us eating all the things, then they will feel more inclined to eat or drink too!
Apply that same thought to fresh juice, especially if it’s a veg juice!
Juicing: a few tips
1. Start off with things they will like.
Watermelon juice. Apple Juice. Grape Juice.
Those are pretty much for sure they’re going to drink it.
2. Involve them
Sitting on the counter. Watching us chop. Taking bites here and there. And finally getting to drop the food into the juicer! Maybe even let them pour their own cup!
3. Veg juices
keep the ingredients High in sweetness, more apples and lemons than greens! Cucumber is also pretty mild.
4. Takes pictures and video to make it fun!
start them young, but anytime is the best time
I am grateful for my husband. He is the one who taught me about juicing and getting me to try all his concoctions. Who knows, maybe a Juice cafe in our future? Juice, coffee, raw vegan snacks and healthy dishes, yummm! We can dream right?
Because we started before our children were born, it was easier to get them to enjoy the same foods as us. They don’t always like what we make, that’s ok. Exposure and getting good nutrition is some shape or form.

So far we’ve really enjoyed the Hurom Slow Juicer. My husband heard about it from following Fully Raw Kristina hahaha! Funny guy!
