LOVE creates Love means being able to fill yourself with love first, to then be able to give love that much more. It means that before we can be of service to others, our cups are filled too!
Love Creates Love Retreat on Nov. 24th was a day to fill ourselves with love, and as we freely received so we were prepared to freely give!
Creator of the event
Mel Craven is the creator of this event in her expat hometown Al Ain. Mel, an Aussie, is a Birth doula and yoga instructor who also unschools her children! Check out more about Mel here.
Location
The event was located in Al Ain’s beautiful Crystal Mountain. Cool air, desert breeze, and oasis thermal waters were a perfect setting for this occasion!
The retreat included: stay and sessions all located at the Mercure Grand Hotel at Jebel Hafeet! It was truly a perfect location for Love creates Love!
Sessions!
Yin Yoga, aromatherapy, birth story listening, reiki, cacao ceremony all including tea time, pool hours, mini golf, buffet breakfast and dinner and a breathtaking view from the Crystal mountaintop!
Our Spray-Making Session
I was so blessed to receive an invite from Mel to be a part of her event! Was an incredible experience! In order to stay within her theme, I chose to focus on aromatherapy— making sprays of our own design and for our individual needs!
It’s always fun to see what each person comes up with! They each have their own need in that moment, and it shows in the oils they choose. Each oil going into their spray supports them in different ways, for emotional support, feminine needs, or to uplift!
