We tend to hit times in our lives where no matter what we read, watch, are told…we just can’t shake out of the nasty funk we find ourselves in.
Sometimes everything just is a bother, a struggle, a sadness, just negative after negative..
We get into the habit of repeating the same bible verses, mantras, affirmations that are supposed to keep our heads above the water, but they do just that, only our heads are above. Well THANK the MOST HIGH for that indeed! Because if we were COMPLETELY under then it is totally worse! (Just Trying to look at the brightside!)
Here is your reminder:
- we are only human
- we are not perfect
- we will go through weird funks in our lives we can’t shake immediately
- everything will seem just wrong
you will get through it!
What you should do in the meantime:
- be easy on yourself
- take care of yourself even if the house is falling apart
- remind yourself of joyful things
- be easy on yourself
I say be easy on yourself twice…lets face it, the world is already against us so why should we be against ourselves too?
Be easy on you because Our Father is easy on you…He wants to comfort you and reassure you and be your hope!
Be easy means:
Don’t tell yourself lies. Don’t add more to your plate than needs to be. Slack off where you can in the meantime. Do something fun, even if it’s for a short period of time. Don’t believe the lies others are telling you. Go out and breathe some fresh air for a sec.
These are just some ideas, think of 3 things you can do through this time you are in that can make things just a bit brighter until you can shake it all off and be your bright happy self again!
And yes here are some bible verses
you always need to hear Gods word!
“Burden not thyself above thy power while thou livest
2 Esdras 14:14
“Let go from thee mortal thoughts, cast away the burdens of man, put off now the weak nature,”
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
